Meet Kyle.

Its summer intern time, and we have four outstanding interns on deck. Meet Kyle Postlethwait. Kyle will be a Junior this year at Villanova, majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Want to learn about Kyle, his love lasagna and why he picked RGS? Then I invite you to read below and get a little familiar with Kyle. Welcome aboard!

Q: What made you decide to want to major in your field?
A: There are multiple engineers in my family (architectural, industrial, and aerospace), and my creative mind and love of math made civil engineering a subject of interest for me.

Q: What is your favorite aspect of your field of study?
A: I like that the things I design will better the environment and I like that I will get the opportunity to see them built and implemented.

Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I play piano and organ professionally and dabble in choir directing and singing, so most of my hours outside of RGS are spent either practicing music, researching potential pieces, or driving between Lancaster and Philadelphia. Right now I work for a Presbyterian church in Brandywine but also play frequently near Villanova and in Lancaster.

Q: Do you have any phobias?
A: Recently all I fear is the next impending AutoCAD crash on the intern computers.

Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: Inferno

Q: What is your favorite food –the meal you could eat every single day?
A: Well-made lasagna with bolognese meat sauce.

Q: What is something you can’t live without?
A: Turkey Hill iced tea, vanilla lattes, and anything that combines chocolate and peanut butter.

Q: On a level of 1-10, how good are you at excel?
A: =’M:\[Excel1234567890.xlsx]Sheet1′!$V$7

Q: What excites you about RGS?
A: I very much loved the walking tour and am looking forward to more company events and excursions.

Q: Why did you pick RGS?
A: After my interview, Olivia showed me around, and everyone seemed very kind and helpful.
