The Mifflin Mills community is located on Mifflin Street between Spruce and N. 7th Streets in the City of Lebanon. This project proposes to redevelop a vacant industrial site into twenty residential lots occupied by row homes. The Housing Authority’s non profit affiliate will own the entire Mifflin Mills community for a minimum of 15 years and offer housing opportunities to moderately low income households during that time. The layout of the community and the architectural style of the homes will be in keeping with the character of the surrounding neighborhood. As part of the project design process, several sections of the City’s Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance were identified that would limit the ability to create a new residential development that was in keeping with the neighborhood surrounding the Mifflin Mills site.
