This project involved the site design for a 16,000 square-foot medical office building for Lancaster General Hospital on a 4-acre site in Warwick Township. Site design services ranged from concept plans through final plan approval. RGS worked closely with the Hospital to create a sense of place for patients visiting this facility. There is a main boulevard that leads you to the building entrance. The parking facilities on-site are surrounded by green space and landscaping to soften the hardscape. The stormwater system utilizes an off-site detention basin which was designed to accommodate runoff from this site. Public improvements included a sidewalk extension from the site to the intersection of Peters Road and Highlands Drive for future extension by others.
