This project involved the site design and permitting for a 20,000 square-foot medical office building for Ephrata Community Hospital on a compact 2-acre site in Ephrata Township. Site design services ranged from concept plans through final plan approval. RGS worked closely with the architect to fit the building on the confined and steeply sloped site. To maximize the use of the site, an off-site stormwater basin was designed to accommodate this project along with future development of adjoining properties. Public improvements include the design of an adjoining public street, roadway widening of Route 272, and the extension of water and sewer utilities.
