RGS provided site design, zoning approvals, utility extension design, as well as subdivision and land development planning services for this multi-use site in Ephrata, PA. The project included construction of a new 43,450 sf manufacturing facility, a new ready-mix concrete batch plant, 5,148 sf corporate office facility, and outdoor material staging and delivery area. Unique features of this project required site staging that allowed existing on-site production to continue during construction of the new facilities. Site grading contributed to the design challenges which were integrated into the service needs of the facility such as raw material handling bins that were integrated into the grade changes on the site eliminating the need for stone and sand conveyors or excess material handling.
