To aid with the visualization of Lancaster County’s Comprehensive Plan and with an understanding of the Urban Transect Concept within a local context, the Lancaster County Planning Commission asked RGS Associates to illustrate each Transect Zone as it relates to a specific location within the County.  The most recent sketch effort focused upon the main entrance to the Borough of Millersville – a T-6 Zone.  Here, two blocks of one-story structures set far back from Manor Avenue and behind off-street parking lots will be redeveloped with multi-story, mixed-use structures, rear parking areas, a new public plaza and pedestrian-friendly streetscapes.
