Q: What made you decide to want to major in your field?
A: I decided to major in Landscape Architecture because I wanted a field that had both an artistic and technical side to it. Originally, I wanted to study urban design until I found out what Landscape Architecture is and realized that is the direction I wanted to head in.

Q: What is your favorite aspect of your field of study?
A: My favorite aspect of Landscape Architecture is the variety of work that you can do with it. There are so many different scales and types of design that Landscape Architecture encompasses, which I love.

Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I love hiking, cycling and experiencing the natural world. I also collect vinyl LPs.

Q: Do you have any phobias?
A: My biggest phobia is the unknown.

Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: My favorite movie is Vertigo by Alfred Hitchcock or Clue.

Q: What is your favorite food –the meal you could eat every single day?
A: Pasta in all forms is my favorite food.

Q: What is something you can’t live without?
A: I cannot live without chewing gum, I’m constantly chewing it.

Q: On a level of 1-10, how good are you at excel?
A: Probably about a 6. I can do a lot of the functions but I am always finding new features I didn’t know about.

Q: What excites you about RGS?
A: I am excited to be interning at RGS because I can apply the skills I have been learning in my studies to real-world projects. Moving from hypothetical design to projects that will be implemented in the real world is an exciting change of pace!

Q: Why did you pick RGS?
A: I picked RGS because the work that they do aligns with the work I see myself doing in the future. Also, everyone is so welcoming and pleasant in the office.
