Meet Jacob.

With the school year complete and Summer almost in full swing, we would like to introduce you to one of our Summer interns. Meet Jacob Knepper. Jacob will be a senior this year at Geneva College, majoring in Civil Engineering. Want to learn about Jacob, his love for Cool Ranch Doritos or why he picked RGS? Then I invite you to read below and get a little familiar with Jacob. Welcome aboard!

Q: What made you decide to want to major in your field?
A: I decided to major in civil engineering because I did well in math and science in high school, and because I enjoyed the statics portion of my physics class.

Q: What excites you about RGS?
A:
As I mentioned before, I’m very excited to have some exposure, here at RGS, to a side of civil engineering that I have not seen yet in my studies at Geneva.

Q: What are your hobbies?
A: My hobbies include writing, recording, and producing music (I play piano, ukulele, and percussion/drums) as well as performing in various talent shows at my college. I also enjoy playing ultimate frisbee.

Q: Do you have any phobias?
A: I am terrified of heights.

Q: On a level of 1-10, how good are you at excel?
A:
I think I’m an 8 or 9 on the excel scale.

Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: I have a lot of favorite movies, but I would have to say Inception is close to the top.

Q: What is your favorite food –the meal you could eat every single day?
A: My favorite food is Burritos—especially from Qdoba.

Q: What is something you can’t live without?
A: Okay, not to go back to food again, but I really love cool ranch Doritos and probably can’t live without them.

Q: Why did you pick RGS?
A: I picked RGS because I liked the inviting work environment and because the people who work here are excited about what they do–which makes for a great learning experience.
