RGS Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that Aislynn Herbst and Shakher Patel have both been promoted.

Aislynn recently became a Registered Landscape Architect and now holds the position of Project Landscape Architect. Aislynn has a broad range of responsibilities including feasibility research, site layout and grading, presentation graphic creation and application coordination. Recent projects include the Peony Road Subdivision Plan, Lancaster; Landis Homes North Campus Expansion, Lititz; and Pointe Place Townhomes, Carlisle. In addition, she serves a critical role on RGS Associates’ in-house CAD Committee. There she is responsible for improving CAD standards, developing training modules and performing quality control reviews.

Shakher has been promoted to Project Designer. As an Engineer-in-Training, he is responsible for stormwater management design and permitting, NPDES permitting, as well as plan drafting and report creation. Recent projects in which Shakher played a key role include the Watson Run Bank, Gordonville; Troegs Brewery Parking Lot Expansion, Hershey; and the Luther Ridge Skilled Care Expansion, Chambersburg. Shakher serves on the RGS Branding Committee working to improve the communication of RGS’s core values to clients and stakeholders.

Aislynn joined RGS in 2013 having earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Penn State University. She completed and passed her Landscape Architect Registration Examination in April becoming one of 12 Registered Landscape Architects at RGS. Shakher joined RGS in 2014, having completed a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland. Aislynn and Shakher work side-by-side on the same project team at RGS, led by Craig Smith – Client Manager / Senior Associate.
