Oak Tree Development Group Breaks Ground on Brubaker Run Floodplain Restoration at Lime Spring Square

On April 20th, Oak Tree Development Group hosted a ceremonial groundbreaking for the floodplain restoration of Brubaker Run. The restoration is part of an expansive water quality initiative located within the 98-acre Lime Spring Square commercial development. The restoration will remove approximately 35,000 cubic yards (38,500 tons) of legacy sediment, and will create 8.4 acres of wetlands, the effect of which will enhance the water quality and lessen the amount of pollutants in the Little Conestoga Watershed, and ultimately help improve the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.
